Snows Here

Hey all snows finally here and boy did it hit us hard just as we were driving to edinburgh the day




yes the fast lane of the motorway is halve covered there




and not even 2 miles down the road


all photos were taken on the way back down on the M74 at abintion

just to show how quickly the weather can change
and remember to leave more room and brake earlier

We got a light sprinkling but it never settled and it is just wet and miserable. (Thats Kent for you!)

yeah we parked up just outside edinburgh for an hour came back out and there was over an inch on the car

the wife was telt i was driving back, that lasted until penicuk when she jumped over while i got petrol

snows just started again here nice big flakes
lying on the cars just now but think it will lie on the road the night

It just rained here in Northampton! Typical!!!

here we've had snow and than rain and then it freezes and than it snows again and just goes in circles. not the best conditions but it's fine when the snow has been for a couple of days, then it's not making the ice even more slippery than it was.

I love snow, Wales had snow for its winters 2004-2006 (3 years running) but then 2007 was snowless! Damh you global warming!

In North Devon at the moment so typically rain as opposed to snow. Hope it stays this way for a day or two as I'm driving back to Buckingham on Sunday 6th. I don't fancy eleven hours of clutch pumping in snow.
