Cool Recently spotted cars

This weekend was quite sunny and it seems to bring out all the nice cars. Here is the total of what I spotted this weekend. Mainly on the M20 heading down to Dover! Perhaps its a new top gear feature

Mustang (new in blue with racing stripes)
Audi R8 - Fantastic sounding engine at full chat. (Couldn't keep up with it though!)
Lamborghini Diablo
Ferrari 344.
Ferrari Enzo.
Ford GT40 - new
Aston Martin DB7
1987 Kitted Ford Escort - Just put this in to convince people I was near Dover!

What have you seen recently on the roads near you?

Nothing extremely exciting around by me...

1. A few X5's
2. Porsche Boxster
3. Ferrari Enzo

And thats about it :/

Has anyone ever noticed that when you decide to get a new car, you will see that car on the road a lot (before you buy it and for a little while afterwards).

Bloody A3 drivers - they think the public highway is their own personal circuit (Liz - take note, you know who you are!).

There's a 1986 911 Turbo local to here, belongs to Bernie Marsden, ex Whitesnake guitarist.

Also a yellow Countach (don't know the year).

We have a road named after our cars - the A3! I think Audi have paid off the DOT to market their range of cars - although I think the sponsorship partnership is flawed!

I don't see any roads called Peugeot 406 Hdi - not even in France

I bet you meet up with Bernie at the weekend for a quick half in the local and debate the state of motoring taxes

"I don't see any roads called Peugeot 406 Hdi - not even in France "

Doesn't quite have the right ring to it, does it?

So the Motorway that connects the midlands with the south-west is a ploy by BMW's motorsport division? I can see where this is going.

I think I'll personalise my number plate by changing my name to Y378LER. Deed poll is cheaper that the DVLA )

There is the A406 North Circular in London though. And the A205 South Circular. Both are noisy and smelly places! Perhaps that's a hint to us derv drivers

Default Re: Recently spotted cars

a yellow ferrari 348 on the train over to Bruges. It was parked in front of the coach. The coach driver said it might be best to get off the coach during the train trip because it gets quite rocky. . . So, everyone got off and stood in front where the ferrari was. There was a really snobby woman in the passanger seat. She just sat there with her arms folded fuming at everyone around her car !! I thought it was hilarious

plus it was yellow !! . . Which makes me think . . I'm gonna start a new thread . . .
