Cool Project Cars?

I might want to ubdertake a project car for example a niisan micra with a pulsar engine in it, has anyone got anyother ideas or list of engines that will go into cars?

My budget is about €10000 at the moment but will grow in time.

Cheers

With a budget like that I wouldn't do an engine swap but rather buy a big engined car and pump it up. Something a 2.9 Sierra 4x4 and i'd put a monster twin turbo conversion on it. With that money you could buy the car and have enought money to totally rebuild the engine. Like I say though this is just an example....

The nova would have to have a calibre turbo dropped in...

I guess you are thinking something light with a big engine. How does a 306 with a 3.0 V6 grab you? This had been done and is a very tidy package. The beauty is that you can buy a car with a damaged engine really cheaply and then do the engine swap. Don't forget the suspension and brakes.
