I've heard they do the trick.. Probably not worth it without breathing Modifications otherwise you are looking at a rich mixture.

But I don't have any personal experience with them so it's not really for me to say! :P

I fitted one to my 220GTi. The engine response was much quicker and it seemed to have a little more to give in the top end. It did take a bit of tuning - if it is too rich then the engine cuts the fuelling causing a loss of power. If you follow the instructions you can't really go wrong. It's also worth changing all rubber fuel lines as the increased pressure can show up weaknesses fairly easily.

The "Power Boost Valve" is just a flashy name for a fuel pressure regulator, they all work in the same way, no matter which brand you buy.

I have one fitted to the GT, but it was there when I bought it so I can't say how much of an effect it had.

i cheated on my 106 i squashed the regulator which give me more pressure and it did made a dirrerants.
