Default Is This Possible

Ive just had a pipercross induction kit fitted, its ace, my car already has a cool air feed pipe, anyway is it possible to fit a panel filter as well?

also unfortunately i dont think the cool air feed will work as well because i had to remove the box around the old filter to fit the new one, so i think im goin to use my engineering skills to make a clear perpex box to go around instead obvious heat resistant so you can still see the air filter, plus i think it would look cool when i get round to kitting out the engine

what you think?

there would be no point to fitting the panel filter. plus it could be pretty hard to do

i know what pipe your own about it comes from behind the passengers headlight does it not? could you not fit some ducting around where it would join the airbox and feed it upto your perspex box

Or put a vent in the bonnet just above the airbox intake

If you've already got an induction kit fitted then the panel filter ought to be redundant
