Default Pathfinder 2000 model

I replace the engine of the above car. Start and let it ideal for 10minutes and then rev it. The ECU got burn. Its run smoothly on ideal. What could be wrong.

Thanks for your interest on the thread. What i mean is after replacing the engine of pathfinder 2000 model and starting the truck, after 10minutes of starting it, the engine control module got burn. So i need clues to what are likely the course to avoid further damage, because i intend to replace another ECU. Thanks.

I spent my younger years as small child living in Port Harcourt with my family, I have a lot of fond memorys of living there & I nearly drowned in the Niger too!

Did the ECU actually catch fire or did it just go 'POP!' & stop working?
