| Re: Number plates gone mad. It would have to be Minehead. Take a 2004 car and then fit a 1994 plate. Hayley, when you have cause to do so, do you drive up/down Porlock Hill or use the toll road? |

| Re: Number plates gone mad. I actually live on porlock hill, so I drive up the first not so steep bit everyday, and usually go up the full hill when I go woolacombe, toll road is ok, if you really do like the scenic route, but its a b**** in the summer full of tourists who wont reverse. I prefer the hill tbh.
Oh I dont think the company van was ins spite but made him think twice about acceptin the company veichle lol.

| Re: Number plates gone mad. Yep, I like the real hill, too. It's fun surging to over 80mph between the bendy bits. Much more fun than the toll road which is gay and designed for grockels who can't 'f.....' drive.
Wny do they insist on trying to drag a bloody caravan uphill with a knackered Ford Escort? |

| Re: Number plates gone mad. oh yesh I was walking up the toll road one day wit the dog, 6 caravans going up in convoy bout 10mph I was walking faster than them (and I walk slow lol), they overtake me, 10 mins later I catch up and the one at the front had broken down HAHAHAHAHA, what a scene. cars, angry motorists, 6 caravans blah blah blah, funny as anything. Kind of avoided driving it after that, unless searching for the dog.
Anyway just thought I'd share that story with everyone, .
Yeah I love driving up the hill, can't say I've 80mph erm more like 30 lol. The whole drive from the hill to Lynmouth is really nice.

| Re: Number plates gone mad. Lynmouth is a pretty little place. Perhaps we could all get together and tip the offending caravans off the side. Why do people try and tow heavy trailers with cars that clearly aren't up to the job? Thus totally buggering up the south-west parts of the UK? |

| Re: Number plates gone mad. Yeah that would be really good a small meet down here.
I dunno why they do it, most of them come unstuck at one point or another, usually people who dont expect it to be that steep, or just dont think or plan before going on a journey.
I'd never do it,unless I had a suitable car or 4x4.
Maybe richard attenborough will do a documentary on it? Or that other wildlife bloke.
Think I'm going to email him now.
