Default New Injectors

Hey all I just need to clear something up which I read somewhere else about Fitting Fuel Injectors for my car.

Would a Fiat Punto 1.8 Set of Injectors Be Compatable for my 1.2 Punto and would there be much of a gain from the transfer??

I want to check before I even buy them as the breakers yard down the road have a set for 30 quid

In short, no. If anything they would just over fuel imo.

ahh right because I thought the Engine set up is almost identical between at 1.8 an 1.2 of the same motor and was told adding injectors from a higher up engine would boost fuel through the car an enhance power output a bit

Im afraid not, the ecu would just try to compensate for the extra fuel and reduce the length of time the injector is open for, you would only need to put bigger injectors in if you were doing some serious tuning, possibly turbo or supercharger.

All aboard the fail train 7 and 10 were miles better than 8 and the rubbish junction system! Best thing about 8 was the card game lol.
