Default Near Lee failed its MOT today.

On a flexi brake pipe, broken exhaust hanger and unbalanced front brakes. Not bad for a 37 year old car.

Haven't taken the engine apart yet, Those heads are spares. The polishing bits were delivered yesterday so I will get them finished this week hopefully, then I'll strip it down and play.

I am quite pleased with the MOT, just need to order a set of brake hoses on monday (may have to get braided) and I'll get it re-tested next week.

I'm guessing the two brake issues are related?

Exhaust hanger is easy, hopefully it will fly through second time round

Actually no the brake issues aren't related. The unbalance application is down to dust buildup in the drums. I will clean out an re-adjust all 4 corners one evening and completley flush and bleed the brake fluid when I change the pipe. Hopefully he will stop a little better when I'm done but I doubt it.

Not tried that yet.

The poor brakes explain why those Duke boys could never stop at the broken bridge.
