| Most powerful car you've driven What is the most powerful car you've ever driven then? What did you think of it and did it make your own car seem positively slow and boring afterwards?

| Re: Most powerful car you've driven My experience are humble. Most powerfull car I have driven is Honda S2000. 2 liter atmo engine and 240 bhp.
My car was way slower and boring in comparisson then. Ibiza was full stock then, even now she is slower and boring in comparisson, but honestly, I don't need better one.
I live in poor country and there are only mega expensive cars on the streets or on oposite side cheap cars. Maybe 'couse of that I don't feel like i need something better - not much contenders around me. |

| Re: Most powerful car you've driven The Cosworth Sapphire I am in the process of stripping. 457bhp and 421lb/ft when rolled. By the time I bought it I guess it was down from this but it still felt very quick. The slightest dampness and it was lethal. Good fun though

| Re: Most powerful car you've driven Ferrari 360 maybe, 400hp. But then my mates Evo is much quicker up to 100, and that was 390-something hp at last RR, should be over 400 now so could be either.

I'm not one for passenger rides so that's a few off the list right there!
If I can't drive it I won't sit in it.

| Re: Most powerful car you've driven Driven lots of fast cars. My 1989 Sapphire Cosworth has a Dyno proven 838bhp its all i will claim because its not been on a test bed with its new Turbo but 860+ i guess. Have a 200 shot of Nitrous to add to that but as yet untried. Have used over 900bhp on the gas at Brunters back in 2005, thats crazy, but im happy with 800bhp on the road on the pump map. |

800bhp.
In a Ford Sierra.
Your interpretation of 'on the road' is clearly different to mine.
Very nice. |

The name MAD is used because although retired 5 years i still work part-time for M.A.Developments the company that developed my car. Its a road car still fully trimmed & sound proofed last year it covered 6k road miles & does not have a low boost setting . |

| Re: Most powerful car you've driven I doubt you'd have much use for a low boost setting if it's only managing 800bhp in its usual tune. |

| Re: Most powerful car you've driven The most powerful car I have ever driven at speed was a Mercedes SLK 230 kompressor. 190 hp wasn't as big of an improvement over the 110 hp of the escort lx I drive everyday as expected. The merc was much more comfortable in the bends though. My escort would corner at about the same speed as the merc, but howl in agony to do it. |
