| Most popular modified car What do you think the most popular modified car is?
I would put my money on the Civic but I'm sure you all have your own suggestions.
Also why do you think this is? Is it the popularity of the model, the availablity of parts or perhaps it has something to do with the image or cost of the base car itself.

| Re: Most popular modified car I'd have to say Saxo or 106. Simply because they are everywhere and they share so many parts.

| Re: Most popular modified car Sorry guys... it can only be the Nissan Skyline. It's mainly because massive hp jumps can be achieved for very little work and it's the ultimate in sports saloons (and style in my opinion).
To this day, I still have yet to see a stock skyline. |

I've seen bog standard Skylines, GTS-T and GTR's.

| Re: Most popular modified car has to be Chav machines, these are bound to be the most popular modified car - usually modified in the wrong way. Although perhaps Escorts as you have Mark1 all the way through to the Mark 7?
Rsmith doubt that their is/was actually the volume of these cars made to be the most popular modified cars.

To this day, I still have yet to see a stock skyline. | 300000 R32s were made and around 5 times that many Corsas. I would contend that there are many more modified Corsas simply because they are far more abundant and affordable to the young who form the majority of modders.
However, I would agree that there are probably more SERIOUSLY modified Skylines than Corsas.

| Re: Most popular modified car I guess we could look at this as a percentage.
Which model of car has the greatest percentage of modified examples?
Impreza, Supra, Skyline ..... tough one to call really! |
