Default Mecredes SLR McLaren

my better half is having to do an essay on the mercedes mclaren slr, and basically has to write about the design and why it has been designed in such way.

also your humble opinions will be much appreciated and any feedback greatfully received.

have fun! cheers.

well i know theres roughly 2 ft of empty space in front of the engine purely to aid weight distribution
the hard top proberly will not be made anymore as takes 4-5 weeks to change the line from coupe to roadster way to much hassle sto swap back considering how many have been sold (around 1200) since 2003 ???

other info ive came across so dont just assume these are true unless someone else confirms them

mc merc colaberation has decided to to make another joint project

most reports show the brakes are a complete failure as very spongey

the steering rack is taken off the A-class and

the front suspension has a lot of problems such as tramlinnin bucking on joints and hving no stability on rough tarmarc (so thats all britsh ones screwed)

i know its not much but a hope it helps
