Lower alcohol limits for young drivers.

Recent proposals are asking for a 0 breath alcohol limit for new drivers and young drivers. Do you think this is a sound proposal?

I suspect that driving the morning after the party will become a real issue. Should all drivers have the same limits?

You can't impose a zero limit. Let's sat you had a drink 4 days ago and there's a tiny residual left, perhaps 1/80 of the current limit. Would it be fair to impose a year's ban for that?

I agree with HDi, let's not forget that some medicine has alcohol contained in it as well.

if theyre wanting to lower the limit it should be accross the board and not just on young drivers. like HDI says i might go out for a few one night then drive late on the next day. now i might still be over the limit but im sure my reaction times are still quicker than most 60 + year old that are toddling about.

Strangely it's the 60+ brigade that are more likely to drive whilst over the prescribed limit.
