The last bit lasts longer rule. This rule applies to everything i can think of from Toothpaste tubes to Petrol in your tank. Why is it that the last bit always lasts longer? Does this demonstrate our wastefulness or our stinginess?
Can you think of anything this rule does not apply to? Is this the reason that the fuel tank guage is biased towards the full end when it gives readings.
