Default Kids in the car?

What precautions do you take when you have to fill up your backseats with children? Do you lecture them, fit a waterproof sheet, ban sweets etc...?

I had to put baby seat in the middle of back seat as little cameron likes to open doors when your driving, and i know what you are going to say,put child locks on but that's one thing i hate about bmw there child lock system is crap.I also never let him eat sweets cause i don't do sticky seat's.and no waynne i don't really lecture him as he's only two and would'nt really understand so just don't give him anything to cause a mess.

I have two boys, one 6 yrs, the other 10. In general it's the older one who plays up as he's devoid of any patience whatsoever.

I don't allow drinks in the car as the clearing up is horrendous. It's easier to stop for a break or just gun it and get the journey done.

Maybe you've finally arrived when your kids are begging you to slow down rather than the usual 'go faster, Dad'!!
