How to save fuel

I thought it was time for an IRREVERENT thread on how to save fuel.

Here are my IRREVERENT tips.

1) Get someone else to drive you around in their car, pretend yours has an engine fault and pull a lead out of the dissy!

2) Get someone to push your car around.

3) Grapple hook onto a lorry and let it tow you wherever it goes, (great for fuel and it adds the mystery tour aspect to your journey!)

Tie a rope between two frequent destinations on a pulley system. Get the kids to pull on the rope from home to get you there and back

Or take your wife's car

Go for a colossal dump before you go anywhere.

Strip your car of all unnecessary weight, just leave one seat. No nagging, no shopping, no 100 ASDA bags taking up every last bit of boot space, bliss.

I doubt your car has a distributor at all.
