Don't give up OG, educate us all! It's not often we see from the other side of the fence. (Also you don't do it anymore so nothing can be "held against you").

(My comment was just flippant and in no way meant to wind anyone up. Our local council seem to put in chicanes, speed bumps and islands and roundabouts all over the place and it doesn't seem to do anything to improve the driving! Perhaps it does and they go from Major moron to just moron!)

I Actually know what chav means! hehehe. No more "darn American" comments for me haha.

so, how to make roads safer? I happen to agree that education is the key. I also believe that the way cars are set up helps too.

If the car is inherently unsafe, whatever road the car/driver is on will be unsafe too. My solution? everyone drives detuned race cars! Think of it. If you had the suspension to take a corner at 120mph, wouldn't it be a breeze to go around a roundabout? if you had the brakes to stop dead from 200mph in 400 feet(making up numbers here) don't you think you could avoid accidents much better? and if you had an engine that could withstand 1000whp, it would probably last forever detuned down to 200

I realize that my ideas are a bit cost prohibitive, but you gotta admit, they have merit hahaha. I'm just screwing around here. Glad to see you guys
