Just received an email from Halfrauds

And in it was the ' brakes for life' Offer

How could they provide such an offer, surely they must be losing money on this

Has anyone taken this up

Must be some sort of catch!? I will be taking the FRS then for some new pads when needed as the fronts are £210 a set for my calipers and they will have to use performance pads because I doubt you can get cheap ones. That will sh*t them up pmsl!

The catch is usually the 100.000 miles limit.
The fact is they don't expect anyone to keep a car forever and the offer is only there is you keep the car.

Likewise, nor would I. I stick with the BMW OEM pads and discs which are made by Jurid. They're also MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper than Halford's parts ! ! And they work extremely well. And they seem to last well, though in fairness I'm not a heavy brake user in general.

The only thing I get from Halfords is screenwash (the advanced one for the intense winter reservoir), goes in neat. Everything else is outrageously expensive compared to BMW dealers ! !
