It's not worth driving.

| Re: Good News! Sounds great.don't assume the money will always come in, things can change very quickly so don't sale yourself with debt or high insurance payments, I've seen so many people get caught out.
I'd also go for the Evo. |

| Re: Good News! Including commission? So what's your basic? Fq-240? Is there such a thing?
Don't pay 5k insurance mate, its just not worth it as you'll never see a penny of it back. I earn consiberably more than that and I would never pay over 3k insurance for one car, even that's silly! |

| Re: Good News! Not really, just thought you might like to know exactly what it is you're thinking of buying. Just bare in mind evos have big running costs, require very frequent services, are extremely thirsty and some parts have serious EVO tax. |

| Re: Good News! As above, he never drives it! I have three mates now with circa 400hp Evo's, two Evo 8 MR's and one Evo 9 MR. Trust me when I tell you running costs are high, driven properly they munch tyres and you'll be lucky to average 200 miles (of 97+ fuel none of this cheap Asda crap) to a tank on a steady drive. If they clutch needs changing (and they don't last long either) you won't get too much change from £1k.
And and the one lad has had his 400/400 9 for only a couple of weeks and 4th gear has just spat its dummy out. Known weak point on the 6 speed box when approaching 400hp. Cheapest he has found now is a stronger but not as nicely ratio'd 5-speed for £300 plus fitting kit for £150. Although he might go all out on a proper nice box.
