Are you fussy about the shoes you wear when driving? i remember when i was learning i only ever wore one pair of trainers as when i changed them the car felt odd

but now i have a pair of old school adidas sambas which i love to drive in

I find thin soled shoes the best. Interestingly most women have driving shoes which they change into!

I tried driving in really chunky boots and hit the brake and accelerator at the same time - never again!

I prefer trainers. I drove the other night in my boots which was really annoying. They are heavier and you dont feel the pedal as much and they clip the other pedals.

i must be like a woman then

with thin soles you do get that extra feel, adds to the experience!

I often find it helps if the shoes fit.

Lol I learnt in walking boots.

Everyone says my clutch is heavy but it feels light as a feather to me, the heavy bit is lifting my foot off of it.
