Default Fitting a new CD player in an old car!

I'm about to fit my Kenwood Cd player (with the normal modern wires and stuff on) into my Renault, which has super old wires and stuff on!

There must be some sort of adapter or something, to go from one block to the other??

Somewhere like halfords, or a good in car audio dealer might be able to help. If you give then the vehicle details (make, model and year) and the make and model of the head unit they should be able to tell you if an adaptor harness is available for your car, and if they can supply one.

i recently fitted a kenwood cd player into my girlfriends clio, replacing the stock tape deck.

i already had the harness and it popped in easily, only problem was that you will need an adapter for the aerial as it wont fit!

yehh i did the same thing in my old 106, it was so simple, but then i take out the tape player from my R9 and BAM! a bunch of wires i've never ever seen before.

The worst part is it took like half an hour to come off!

Anyway, going into town today, thanks for the help =]
