Anyone seen Pug1Off's silly cars.

306 with TWO 24v 3.0 V6 engines, each delivering about 250bhp.

They also have a 205 with a 250bhp V6 in the front.

Have a look here:

My fav engine swap car has to be "GPower"'s M3 csl with a supercharged version of the M5's V10.

Check it out: http://www.g-power.de/

In fantasy land id like an audi A4 with a new RS6 engine and DTM bodykit.

Those pug1off conversions are mental. Thats so much pwoer - i'm a bit worried that the engine conversions don't include brake upgrades!

Thanks for hte G-power link - they have done a nice job with that conversion.

An engine swap is actually in the pipeline for me. I can't afford to tune the A series so I'm gonna wack a K series 1.8 VVC in her, hopefully use the PG1 'box if I can get it to fit. Get it out of a derv then I not only have the power but the gear ratio's too. One guy said he's getting between 50-60 mpg in a similar setup which running close to 250 hp/ton. Now that will be fun. Next year hopefully.

Just have to design and build the subframe

What car are you driving?!?!?!? An old fiat 500? There is a guy who has done a front wheel drive V8 conversion in a classic mini. If you can fit one in a mini, you can fit one in any car...

Especially since he used an austin princess gearbox, can't get many mpg on that. Oh, thats miles per gearbox FYI ;-D

Pug1Off's own cars are well set up with brake upgrades to match the power on offer. Whether all customer cars are is another question, although I don't envisage Matt allowing a vehicle out of the workshop that is dangerous to use.

Honestly though - TWO engines in a 306? That's gotta be quite something.

The Mini V8 has captured my imagination. How cool is that?

If I had 2 engines I'd have an economical one on the front wheels for round town and a massive power one in the back for the weekends

I know I go on about mini's, but I love them. You think 2 engines in a 306 is mad, there are a fair few people who have twin engined mini's. My fave one is someone who put twin Hayabusa 1400 engines in a mini. Think they were 1400 anyway. 240hp, through each axle. Be afraid.... especially since it made it about 500 hp/ton
