Default Didn't think i'd be doin this with a Scooby lol!!!

Well, I may have done it again lol. Been looking on the NET doing the same old research I like to do and low and behold, i've found a company that sells very nicely price Subaru engines And sitting on their shelf is 2 very low milage, good condition 2.5 flat 4 engines

So as mine is a 2.0 I spoke to my good man at my local Scooby Tuning place and he said the conversion is basically as "easy as pudding and pie". Plus these engines can take a hell of alot more power. All the mods I already have can be mated to the newer engine no probs as the new ecu just needs to be remapped (AGAIN!!!).

So from what my chappy has told me, just doing the conversion, mating up my mods with a remap should see the beasty up to 350bhp easy. Thats without having to buy a bigger turbo than what I already have aswell

This is the best bit. Out of all the things I need to buy to make this successfull will only cost me £987

But for anyone else out there that might want to ugrade their scooby from say a 2.0 GL to a 2.0 Turbo then this place is where you need to look. Their 2.0 Turbo UK spec engines start from just £275 But i'll give the link so you can check it out for yourselves

"Scooby" is the nickname for "Subaru"

Subaru = Scoobaru = Scooby. Quite a good nickname i think lol

Does "Prodavam" translate into "Prodrive"? If so then yes mate, thats a nice Scooby. Would definatly think about changing the wheels and change the back box aswell for a less restrictive one. But yeh not bad for the money. Would needto be test driven and checked out by someone that knows Subaru's as they can tend to hide a multitude of sins if you dont know what you are looking at

Well, to give you an idea of price range I have found you a couple to look at from one of our sites over here

This first one is a mint genuine STi

This next one is a great example of a nice WRX (WRX's are cheaper than an STi and still a good car)

This next one is nice example of tuned WRX for a ood price

But like I said really, if you know someone who knows what to look out for, take them along to the Scoobies you look at just to be safe

That is cheap, not something you come across very often. Just wish tuning parts for my car were more realistic..............ho hum!
