I was thinking along the lines of a little more sophistication TN! I have my short list of cars drawn up, but I have to see how much I will end up spending on my new home first as to how new the car will be

Sod sophistication. If your having a British sportscar then you need a TVR.

ITS CERTAINLY DIFFERENT

its like an armchair to sit in but like a racing tractor that goes round corners to drive.
In reality all you really notice is the V8 . mine has the high compression 6.9 - the one without the emmission baggage so more power than normal models
The torque is astonishing . You dont realise how quick it is untill you try to stop or reach a bend.
Handling was great for a late 60s car weighing 1.3/4 ton but in comparison with later cars its best driven in straight lines.

If your considering british sports cars the TVR should be the top of your list.

It's your choice ultimately, don't let anyone else affect your decision but that's my opinion and I've worked at the Bentley factory in Crewe, and I was privvy to a passenger ride in one a few years ago.

You see loads and loads about too, that would deter me straight away! But then I'm not you, I'm me

Indeed you are MA and don't ever change! I am thinking about the Supersports as I have a friend who has one and I have driven it a number of times and I am struggling to find fault with it. I also love the Astons as well but I don't want the lower models in the range, I need something with a bit of grunt!

You worked at the Bentley factory! That is so cool! I salute you sir

I've worked in a handful of car plants too but none as posh as Bentley, closest I got was Browns Lane.

I bet Bentley was a great experience!
