Default car road charges

anybody know the actual figures proposed by the goverment for pricing the roads such as A roads, B roads and country lanes, off peak on peak.

im so confused how is this going to effect the cruisers and mod meets.

Due to the amount of opposition I really can't see this one happening. I do expect the Goverment to introduce tolls on busy roads and scale them according to the time of the day.

Cynics view of this whole debate:
Tell everyone they are going to be fitted with a tracking device for road charging.
Everyone thinks no way am I having that. The plan is then revised to be a toll system on roads and everyone thinks Phew glad we only got toll fees it could have been a lot worse.

If the plan had been disclosed initially people would have objected to toll fees but the media hype has be cleverly used so the law is passed and everyone reluctantly agrees to it because it is better than the initial plan with all its privicy implications!
