| In 10 and 20 years time What will you be driving in 10 and 20 years time?
I suppose we should say what do you hope to be driving and realistically what will you most likely be driving?
I would like to own an RS4 in 10 years time and an R8 in 20 (probably can afford it by then but it will be the V12 Mk3 edition!)
Realistically I will still have my A3 in 10 years time and probably a Golf Diesel in 20.

| Re: In 10 and 20 years time In 10 years time I'll be 31. Probably have an RS4 or maybe a DB9 if they go as cheap as you can pick DB7's up for these days for the weekends. Probably a newer Alfa diesel of some model for a runabout. Ideally I'd like an Integrale Evo 2 as a restoration/project too, but they just bleed you dry so I don't think that's going to happen.
In 20 years time I'll be 41! Hmmm....no idea!

I was out clubbing all week from the age of 16 by the time I was 18 the novelty had well worn off (in the UK at least) but I got in with the wrong crowd at 18, 3-day sessions, lots of drugs, fighting, sh*gging....so I went away...
To live in South Korea for 6 months when I was 19 on money I'd saved. Spending all weekend every weekend in Seoul still clubbing and drinking all day and night but at least it got me off the drugs.
These days I'd rather just stay in and watch TV with the missus or have a quite drink down the pub.

| Re: In 10 and 20 years time No idea, way too far ahead for my liking! So at a guess, 10 years it might be something along the lines of a newer Land Rover for everyday and some stupidly powered V8 for fun. As for 20 years it'll be rocket powered I hope!

| Re: In 10 and 20 years time In 10years time I might be forced to not drive anything!
In 20 I might be dead
But.....
I note that almost ALL responders have listed dream cars that they wish they had NOW
Lambos, Ferraris Astons, Evos et al
Why?
Owning a DB9 in ten years will be like having a model T ford!! Lambo? Have you driven one? They have VERY restrictive rear views and dont say thats not relevent because everyone would be miles behind you anyway! What about when you need to move off?
Only one responder stated the fairly obvious.
In a few years time there will be good electric cars and hydrogen cell driven ones no doubt. Perhaps, in 20 years we will be beamed up by Scotty, taking us instantaneously to our desired destination Technologies are moving ahead rapidly so, who can say what one would want to drive?
Anyone remember a song about 2525??
Didnt it moot the point that one wouldn't need arms and legs? Quote:
