Default 1.8T transplant

right as as youll know i have a 1.6 octavia which has naf all potentiol
but i was thinkin off removing the current engine and swapping it for a audi 1.8t
i was curious as to how hard it would be and what is the wiring loom like for the
1.8t in the A3 & A4 that have them

The 1.8T should be an option in the Octavia anyway so if you can get a Skoda doner the job will be that much easier. You will need to change the loom, probably the fuel pump but you might get away with that, the exhaust headers etc... But actually I think it will be a fairly easy conversion for you to do but all engine swaps can be stressfull and time consuming.

having meny land rover owning friends i know any transplant can be a pain in the be hind
