Default VAG 1.9tdi (150)

Ive read here on the site that this engine VAG 1.9tdi (150) is one of the best for retuning / remapping

I dont think Ive come across this. What models house this engine?

I thought the highest 1.9 was a 130bhp
What are the torque figures for this engine

Default Re: VAG 1.9tdi (150)

see the other post.
it was only used in the golf bora and leon.
power is 150 and torque around 240.

most remap on a standard car show around 190 and 310. more agressive maps will show over 200.

main differences between the 130 and the 150 is the turbo is slightly larger ad it is the only VAG with a front mount intercooler rather than the side mounts that the rest of the range have

It might be actually, I sort of lose track of the modern plates, it's a 52 I think.

could be 2002 was 25 years so could be anything between 02 and 03 depending on when they were regisared.

a good tip was to look at the badges. the TDI should be all red
however these are easily bought so you could buy something with the badge that is actually the base 90 TDI.

best bet is look in the boot floor the sticker should have ARL on the top left corner. cant remember where it is on the engine block
