Viewing: TDI Carisma

We have a 1.9TDi Carisma, 2002, which is actually nice to drive and not bad for power - and fuel economy is great. Has anyone heard of these being remapped?

I think this is a mechanical diesel. If so then it's not possible.

You could probably increase the boost by altering the wastegate but it is a bit of a bodge. Do you know the engine code on it?

Wastegate alterations like this often leave the engine bereft of sufficient fuel.
