| Re: Peugeot 307 hdi remap? Exactally my point, powerflow do custom exhausts, and again if they can't map it out then leave it, |

| Re: Peugeot 307 hdi remap? You're going to wind up with a 307 that truly belies its 1.4 litre origins. |

| Re: Peugeot 307 hdi remap? Well I wouldn't go too low, cause of speed bumps and the like,
30-40mm is a nice drop I would say |

The i/c and remap will make far far more difference. All the exhaust will release is a few more bhp at high revs. It might even weaken the midrange torque and that's the stuff you really want to make your car accelerate hard. |

But what would you specifically recommend for like pipe size etc. because I really am a total newbie to all this stuff and you obviously know your stuff. Thanks for your patience |

Thanks for your patience | To be honest I can't really give a reasoned answer to that one. Unless the current pipe is outrageouly small I'd honestly leave it as it is.
A low back pressure catalytic converter might be worth considering but these, too, are pretty pricey. |

| Re: Peugeot 307 hdi remap? 2" is a good size but I dare say it is that already, when you get your map done with your intercooler ask the guys there what they think,it might be a case of checking that the bends aren't restrictive,
if push come to shove what I would do is make sure you have a genuine peugeot OEM exhaust on it as I have found one's from tyre centres such as Kwik-fit and ATS tend to be inferior quality, you will know if it is an inferior one just by looking at the quality of the bends in the pipework if they seem to make the diameter of the pipe smaller than take a trip to a Peugeot dealer and order up a genuine item, shouldn't be massively expensive |

| Re: Peugeot 307 hdi remap? Peugeot exhausts are well designed. As J says the OEM ones are generally better than aftermarket replacement ones.
PSA ones are also pretty resistant to corrosion. |

| Re: Peugeot 307 hdi remap? Indeed, the last PSA exhaust that was on my car was on there for 9 years :S
Aftermarket standard exhausts aren't great, they are cheap for a reason, stick to the genuine article and everything will be good,
or at least a good aftermarket SS system |

| Re: Peugeot 307 hdi remap? defo go stainless steel, i do ss lines for people all the time and 100% of the time its cheaper than the genuine article. id throw a 2.5 inch line on her and let her breathe. the best thing about stainless steel is itl never burn out, there forever, thats value for money. |
