Hi Shadowwulf, Have you done any mods yet?

A remap if possible is one of the best mods you can do. Failing that a boost controller will alow you to turn up the boost. An intercooler will also increase the quality of air charge providing more oxygen.

Another option would be a turbo upgrade but a lot depends on how much you want to spend and what power figures you are aiming at.

I presume there is a wastegate you could get a controller for. This would turn up the boost.

depends on how the ecu is set, boost controller might put it too high and send the engine into limp mode

Sounds like a remap is the way to go. I'll have to do some searching to figure out what I need to do it. I've been a bit too busy building cars lately to work on my own.... I'm an Chrysler Auto worker. NOt sure for how long considering the state of things

Remap definitely - wastegate and vane angle are all under ECU control now. It's much less crude than just clamping the lid down!

Boost controllers belong in twenty year old Escort RS Turbos are Fian Uno Turbos

It sounds crazy but they might be able to remap your ecu through the post. Send it to them, they remap and send it back. It will be an off the shelf map but probably a good option.

That is distinctly possible. Be careful though shadowulf - don't fall foul of stringent emissions laws. In theory your fuel usage should go down but there may be a no-tampering policy in force in Canada, regardless of whether emissions are affected or not.
