why bother remapping your deisel car because their quicker than most petrol engines anyway .

well when iwas younger i used to ride two stoke motor bikes and their pretty damm fast so i moved on to four wheels and got a deisel car and like two wheels their much quicker as well so its horses for corses mind saying that according to reports honda,s r-type civic is much quicker than the 2.0 imprezza .

To maddave;

Agreed - diesels easily outrun models in the range with similar size engines. A cautious remap can get even more torque and leave you with a car that drives like a dream throughout the rev range.
