Default Advise re sportage crdi diesel DPF

Hey all, I've got a 2007 sportage CRDI turbo with six speed. I've struck trouble after gutting out the diesel particulte filterand cat. I did this as it was regenerating too often and robbed heaps of power and gave poor fuel economy. Initially when I gutted out the DPF I hooked up the exhaust gas pressure differential front hose only, so that the ECU still picked up some positive pressure. Went well with heaps of power and great economy without engine check lights for about 7ookm. Now seems the ECU only wants to regenerate all the time causing a lot of white exhaust smoke and have engine check light flashing. Obviously I need to somehow stop the differential pressure and Exhaust temp sensors from giving signals to ECU or remap/replace ECU. Ayone have experience with Kia CRDI diesels, ECU and removing DPF. Thanks in advance. Regards Fred.H
