Rover 416 engine wanted

Hi, does anyone know of a good Rover 416 petrol engine going, anywhere within travelling distance of North Lancashire please? My cars a 1998 (S reg) 400, manual gearbox, K series. Thank you,

Have you tried the breakers yards and good olde Ebay? If you do some homework you will probably find you can slide in a 1.8VVC engine/ecu.

Hi I have a Rover 416 Honda engine with 146500 miles. I m selling the whole car for 400.
Has MOT till Aug/08 and Tax Feb/08.
The is in realy good condition its a L reg 1994 1.6 16v engine.
There is a service book with all stamps till 108000 miles and I got the car 3 year ago with 111000 So far I have all the MOTs papers.

As I put the thread I went to the mechanic to check the engine.
We found a noisy in the engine and The mechanic sad is the water pump So I quote the waer pump and that cost around £37.

I want £250 for the car now
