For £50s worth of stereo you may as well sing to yourself! Halfords have a few deals allowing you to spend around £100 but obviously you get what you pay for.

I have an Alpine head unit that I paid £300 for 4 1/2 years ago and it is currently in it's third different car.

Installation is also very straight forward.

I've got a Kenwood CD headunit I pulled out the MG when I bought it (it's not got a lineout jack though), you can have that for free if you pay for the postage.

If you can spend a little more than £50 I'd go for this...
