Sixty Six Motorsport is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Sixty Six Motorsport

How do sports fan's!

My name is Ryan, I'm 20, form Newark, Notts and I am Sixty Six Motorsport.

I come from the wonderful and under estimated world of National Autograss Racing, where I have been competing with High success at national level since I was 12.

Due to experience gained so far, I decided to set up myself fabricating race cars for any discipline and specialising in Race Engines. So far everything is going brilliantly, so thats all good. Now, predicting what people will more than likely be thinking, "A 20 year old, ha, he aint going to know anything" Well, tell that to 6 National Titles, 2 European ones, development work with Subaru for the SubaruKart and Building Engines for Aston Martin, the MOD and many other very happy customers.

I'm not out to get anyones back up, I do not predictto know everything and I am constantly learning new things, as everyone should!! I encounter predujice every day towards my age and abilities so please, lets not go there!!

Anyway, I am currently building my new toy. Its a 1992 Mk5 Ford Escort XR31 130 Spec. Sounds nothing, however, the full spaceframe chassis, All round Twin Wishbone Inboard Suspension, 2.4 Duratec, 6 speed sequential Quaife/Elite dog Box and Fully Floating Sierra Based IRS with LSD make it into one hell of an unexpected Drift Machine. that is the plan anyhoo!

So, I am here to learn more about drifting, help anyone I can and generally have a good old time!!

Hope everyone is having a good chrimbo and I have not got peoples backs up already!!

Take care all and remember - Propshafts beat driveshafts!!!!

Welcome to the site mate. Where abouts are you based? How exactly would you modify a 1999 Honda Civic Coupe?

Do you know how to drift? Personally I self taught it on empty roads in a low engine car so I may not know a great deal. But try this website DRIFTING UK car clubs Drift Events ::..

Merry xmas!

P.S. There is a drift section in this forum Drifting - TorqueCars chat forums

Welcome to TorqueCars Sixty Six Motorsport, it is really nice to have you along. None of us claim to know everything anyway its all about sharing our knowledge and experience. Grass track racing sounds like fun - hows it compare with regular track days? We have quite a few drift fans on here so you are in good company.
