Hi guys and gals,
Just joined and my transport is a VW Jetta TDI 2002. I am at present searching for a Jaguar as an up grade. The newer Jags have limiter chip in the electronics system and I'm wondering about remapping to improve performance and fuel economy.

there are some tuning companies over here (take it your american as 2002 jetta are knwn as boras over here jetta didnt change back to jetta until the mk5) that will remap the jag and remove the limiter. take it there will be something the same over your side o the pond

Hello and welcome. The Jags are nice cars. You really need to find a specialist - if you do then you have whatever you want power wise. Weight reduction will also improve performance as most Jags are pretty laden down with gadgets, features and heavy parts .
