hi everyone!

i am currently awaiting delivery of a piper manifold with sports cat and full system for my corsa d 1.4.

someone mentioned the issue of dash lights coming on due to the new greater flow and suggested an o2 simulator.

where can i get a good mechanical one from pls.

pics of my ride....

it's a sensor (lambda) telling you that the emissions are too high

you can get sleeves that they attach to the sensor and they sit outside the exhaust. you probably shouldnt have an issue with a sports cat. a decat however would cause issues

sorry mate your post got stuck in the queue again because of the link.
you must have one seriously sensitive ECU if its throwing error codes up with a sports cat. for the hassle you might as well fit a full decat and swap it back come mot (or equivalent ) time

try without it 1st , no point in spending money that you dont need. like i say you might not need it with the sports cat.

was that machine polished ?

no, i work by hand.

i'm afraid that i ordered the parts...and pretty sure that they will bring a nice smile to my face!

Hello Balz and a warm welcome to TorqueCars, good to have you with us.

Surely an engine light will only come on if the engine starts running too rich or lean. As long as the extra flow through the egnine is matched with fuelling then I can't imagine you would have trouble with a sports cat.

If I dig up anything on this I'll let you know
