Hi and welcome to Torquecars - I have an A3 with the 1.8T engine so I am a big fan of these VAG units and they are sooo tunable. Have a look at the threads in VW if you haven't seen them yet and feel free to ask any questions that pop into your head. You seem to have owned loads of cars - did you kill them or get bored with them?

To be honest I've not done much to the Audi other than a panel air filter and a half decent radio. (The car is now our 1 and only main car and I've been forbidden from modding it too much )

My previous car got modded to death and cost me a total of £5k per year in repair bills due to its unreliability which is why my requests for Modifications are falling on stony ground.

But that will all change, first up is an invisible remap which I'll explain the power gain away as being the super unleaded fuel I used. Then I think a bigger turbo which power increase will of course coincide with a major service and application of redex.

I chose the car carefully looking at the tuning options out there - the second choice was a Civic 1.8 VTEC but I think I chose well I really like the power and handling of the standard car and the fact I get 37 MPG from it (double my previous car)!

Not sure if I can convince her that while it was parked someone swapped the wheels for 18's and fitted a body kit but hey it's worth a go.

Apparantly when we get a new car I can have this one to play with (Can't wait! Bring it on.....)

I'll have to try that! Would an Argos necklace work as well?

I think i would be very deadified if I did that. Perhaps if I put it in a tiffanys box i'd get away with it - at least until the gold plating rubs off
