Default Induction Kit's

Howzit guys

I was wondering, is the best thing to do concerning Induction Kits is to have it with a Cold Air Intake and have it housed/fitted in an air box to seperate it from the bonnet temperature? Also the CAI will be by a vent by my Fod Lights..

Thanks

HI and welcome to TorqueCars. Why not just go for a sports panel air filter instead? A 1.3 engine even if supercharged will not really benefit power wise from an induction kit.

Have you had it remapped? What about looking into some fast road cams and a bit of head work as well?

I shall be gasflowing the Heads soon and getting the ECU chipped/ Uni chipped The thing is that I have a free flow exhaust system, so wont an induction kit be beneficial?

It sounds like you are spending some money on the car then.

If that is the case then go for it. As long as it is in an enclosed airbox with a large cold air feed then go for it, I still think though that a high flow sports panel air filter will do a better job than a full induction kit and will be cheaper.

Do you know what the final power figure is going to be when all the work is done?
