Smile Hi everybody from Ncham, snowy Russia

Hi everybody!
I have a plesure to join the comunity.

I got Toyota Yaris 2008 with 1.5L AT US standard and now I'm testing that on our weather. It's -18- -25C with some huge snow and ice on streets. Winter Goodyear's Ultra Grip Ice+ (non-studded) seems to be good enough when no crazy driving is applied .

It'll be nice to share ideas, approaches and experience with you guys.

First tasks I got for today are Fog lights mounting (I got the set already, even with on/off button).

Regards,
Ncham

P.S. In fact, my Mitsu Outlander XL 3.0 220 HP suits Russian winter much better but I love Small crazy Yaris of my wife too. Weird and mighty with 1.5 : engine in fact.

Hello my slavic friend!
I had oportunity to drive Yaris 1,0 for about 300 km trip and i agreed that it is interesting small car with lot of revs, tough not much power. Your 1,5 could be spot on!
I think you could be our wealth of information for winter tyres, mate!

Hi there, I hope you are well. May I wish you a warm welcome to TorqueCars, it is a pleasure to meet you.

You'll find us a very friendly and enthusiastic bunch and I'm sure you'll start to love and enjoy the forums as much as we all do. (It gets quite addictive at times.)

Feel free to get involved in our other threads, all opinions are welcome and as they say "the more the merrier"! (It's also great when people start new threads and discussions and all adds to the great debate.)

Keep us up to date with your project as well, we like to see what people are getting up to with their cars.
