Gt3k is an unknown quantity at this point
Unhappy Hi any mechanical minds know how to help with a mitsi gto problem?

Just got a 3000 gt uk spec, I brought this from E-BAY for £3,000 and decided to 'open it up' on the way home, that resulted in my completely destroying the clutch as the care had been up-rated, but not the clutch.
I then spent £1,700 putting a new PARENZA Fly Wheal and LUK Clutch into her. Up-rating the brake pipes and changing the cam-belt.
Finally back on the road I did a further 60 miles and the Big End went.
Following that its been on my drive, I took out the Crank and sent it for re-grinding to http://www.sumiyaka.co.uk/. it was sent back with new shells and I put the whole thing back together.
However I think the grinding needs looking at, when I do up the bolts on the bottom of the engine, the whole engine stops turning (this is when turned by hand.. I didn’t bother starting her!)

please please please can someone give me some help as to what to do?

Nice car - shame about the problems. I really think the engine should be stripped right down and rebuilt. It sounds like it is over stressed or has been neglected. Have you checked the pistons and head for damage? The water and oil pumps may also be showing signs of wear.

Have you spoken to Sumiyaka? It might be something really stupid like the crank is in the wrong way round
