Just got a 3000 gt uk spec, I brought this from E-BAY for £3,000 and decided to 'open it up' on the way home, that resulted in my completely destroying the clutch as the care had been up-rated, but not the clutch.
I then spent £1,700 putting a new PARENZA Fly Wheal and LUK Clutch into her. Up-rating the brake pipes and changing the cam-belt.
Finally back on the road I did a further 60 miles and the Big End went. Following that its been on my drive, I took out the Crank and sent it for re-grinding to http://www.sumiyaka.co.uk/. it was sent back with new shells and I put the whole thing back together.
However I think the grinding needs looking at, when I do up the bolts on the bottom of the engine, the whole engine stops turning (this is when turned by hand.. I didn’t bother starting her!) please please please can someone give me some help as to what to do?
