Well as the title suggests im completely new to this, ive had a fair share of cars in the last 7years but never one worth doing up. Well now things have changed

Ive got myself a VW Golf GTi 2.0 8V MK3 and i am soooooo happy. Bought the car of a friend and its a dream, i got it at a bloody good price too. Anyway this will be my first project car and i dont even know where too start to be honest, so please point me in the right direction on the forum for where i can ask lots and lots of newbie questions without being told to go away.

This is my first car site too and after looking at a couple this one really stood out too me, nice site.

my user name, well its part of my gamer user name for xbox live on 360 and also on Gamebattles.com where i have my own clan. my full user name for gaming is Sgt Chief Apone. Chief is from halo, main character master chief 117. Sgt Apone from the film Aliens. There you go
