Hi there. So you train people in the construction industry. (Can you add a course on avoidance of bum cleavage as I think this would do the world a big favour !)

Have you done any Modifications to the Discovery yet? What are you wanting from the car - power economy, handling? Another big question is how much money do you want to spend?

Default Thanks

Actually, we DO try to discourage the "Dagenham Smile" and other building site attractions!

Disco story so far - I have uprated the suspension from Scorpion, to stop the wallowing. I have a set of Polybushes (the proper ones) to go on.It runs on LPG nearly all the time, but I get about 15mpg when driving economically. It has a K&N filter and a set of Pacet electric fans. I probably want to achieve the impossible, - MPG as well as a sensible power curve. I get a flat bit at just over 2000 revs when accelerating.

To be honest I don't know a lot about LPG. I have heard it is less powerful than Petrol and less economical but it is a load cheaper! I guess any Modifications that make the engine more efficient will also help power and economy but it is a fine line to tread. Are you looking to spend much on it? Are there any supercharger conversions? I think Finch are the Landy specialists so I'll have a peek and see what they get up to.
