Hiya Lads and Ladies,

Matt here, i drive an MGZR 1.4 105 bhp, completetly standard atm. Im in the army and have just arrived back from a tour in Afghan for 6months.
I am now going to start work on my car even though i have no idea what i am doing as modification is totally new to me. So i would be gratefull for all your help and advice on what to buy, where to buy things from, what type of things to buy to make my car one of the best.

Always nice to see another Rover on the forum. Have a look a DVA Power & Moto Build for tuning tips & goodies. Easy upgrades include uprating the air filter, exhaust & possibly a de-cat if you want to take that route.

Drop in a 1.8VVC engine! For the cost this would be one of the best power gains you can have.

I hope you enjoy the forums as much as we all do, it's good to get as many different perspectives on tuning and cars in general.

Welcome to the site. I'd have thought if you are going all out, you may aswell drop a Tomcat or 220 Coupe Turbo engine in??
