Default Tyre choices for drifting

What are your thoughts on tyre selection for drifting?

Do you pay much attention to the wear ratings? Would you say beginners should use a harder or softer tyre? Do you use different types of tyre on the front and rear?

Which tyres make the most "smoke"?

Default Re: Tyre choices for drifting

well im a trampdrifter so for me the best tyre is whatever i can get my hands on free of charge! 30 psi in fronts, 50psi in rears an its all good!
beginners etc dont really need to worry all that much about tyre selection, just use whatevers available!
and as im no pro i cant comment on which tyres smoke up the best etc!
