Hi, I'm only getting into drifting lately but have been a few track days watching lads and was thinking about getting a cheap e30 for it at some stage just for abit of fun.
I was told though that a rwd car with standard suspension is incapable of diffing or drifting.
What basic alterations would you have to make to a rwd car to drift with it??
You can drift a RWD anything as far as I know as long as it has the power. It is better though if the suspension is stiffer and you have tweaked the camber/toe angles for a sharper turn in at the front.
The best and first mod you should do is get the diff welded. This helps to sustain the drift when it is started.
