Most of us have been silly at some point when we were young. Thankfully we got away with it. It's testimony to the safety of modern cars that there were fewer UK road deaths during the last ten years than there were in the period between 1920-1930!!

Not deaths per vehicle, but actually less overall!! And we drive greater distances oer year, too!! And the population is higher so there are more pedestrians to hit !!!!
