Gosh! Nearly a flame war on TC. First one I almost saw

Burnouts: When required (drag racing), not cool, just necessary.

If done with your mates and peers and they like that sort of thing, then why not. Hell. they have burnout competitions at drag meets so a lot of people think that it is cool and who am I to disagree. Whatever is your bag, man. Just don't do it in the pub or supermarket carpark please.

When you get old and decrepit like me, they look juvenile and silly but, hey, I can remember doing some really daft things that I thought were cool back in the dark ages before mobile phones
