If it was standardised then we (as in the public) would have a better idea of what to look for. As soon we spotted an unmarked Vectra/A4 we would suspect an undercover cop car and we'd slow down. If they vary the vehicles used then we have less chance of spotting them, and a higher chance of being pulled over for speeding (assuming that we are speeding) therefore meaning more money in speeding fines. |
